The Blundabus and Blundagardens at Potterrow Underpass has been THE alternative venue at Edinburgh Fringe for many years. Offering a home to the fringiest of the Fringe artists, it is an essential part of the cultural makeup of Edinburgh in August.
We ran the space in 2024; some things worked and somethings didn’t. We will have one performance space in 2025 to ensure it is the best it can possible be. We will let you know when the space is confirmed with Edinburgh Council.
We will continue to be a venue that champions Queer Artists, Artists of Colour and all of the under-represented members of our weird and wonderful community!
We will also continue the fantastic Midnight Variety slot offering a delicious selection of wild and wonderful Fringe acts for the deep night.
We maintain the mini food market too, offering our customers the best value hot food at The Fringe!
How it works
Our aim is to cover our costs and help great acts have a great Fringe.
Our offer is simple. All shows at Potterrow are Pay What You Want (PWYW).
Punters can buy a ticket in advance to guarantee a seat or pay what you want on exit.
Shows can set any ticket price (usually between £5 and £10)
We offer an 80% / 20% split, in the performer’s favour, on all tickets sold in advance.

You have an hour slot, so we’d recommend aiming for 55 minutes.

Slots will be available on the two days before Fringe starts.
Yes, but keep it sensible!
The Edfringe box office pay out goes to Hoots, this is put together with any box office sales, we take our 20% + VAT. We then send the rest to you.
Both yurts will have eight shows a day over the fringe, from midday to midnight.
In Yurt 1, we will also continue the fantastic Midnight Yurt Magick programme offering a delicious selection of wild and wonderful Fringe acts for the deep night.
