Hoots Comedy is Edinburgh’s newest comedy and cabaret club. In 2023, we launched our partnership with The Apex to create a new Fringe comedy hub in the Grassmarket.
In 2025, Hoots will have over 55 show slots over three fantastic venues.

Smack in the heart of the Fringe, the Apex Grassmarket is a purpose built conference centre that we take over each year.
Five amazing rooms; from a 25 seater to a 160 seater, a Fringe bar with food and drinks.
Hoots@Potterrow
The Blundabus and Blundagardens at Potterrow Underpass has been THE alternative venue at Edinburgh Fringe for many years.
Offering a home to the fringiest of the Fringe artists, it is an essential part of the cultural makeup of Edinburgh in August.

You have an hour slot, so we’d recommend aiming for 55 minutes.
